Hi Leicester City Council, i would like to bring to your attention inappropriate parking outside Leicester Community Rooms Hillsborough Rd, Glen Parva, Leicester LE2 9PQ. Visitors of the centre are parking daily on the green verge, double lines and blocking 3 bus stops in close proximity compromising public safety and those using Arriva bus services 87/88. I have concerns that the butchers at the top of Francis st. are permanently blocking the pavement with 3 commercial bins, a black one with an orange lid, a blue one and a green one with a blue lid.
They are not only blocking the pavement but I suspect have some unpleasant by products from the shop waste - one week there was a pungent black liquid leaking that has permanently stained the tarmac.
I would expect that these 3 commercial bins should be kept on their property and only put out on collection days, but I understand that they have made an enclosure where the bins should be stored and this area is now used for something like smoking meat, even though it is only semi-enclosed.
None of this seems quite acceptable to me, is it?.-Shop, 2 Francis Street, Leicester, LE2 2BD
