I just fell off my bike on the cycling path across the Victoria Park on my way to work this morning, because the path was covered in wet leaves and my bike slipped as I was making a slight turn. There were workers nearby working in the park. I do feel it is very important that we prioritise the task of cleaning up the path to allow many cyclists travelling here safely.-Victoria park cycling path

I have concerns that the butchers at the top of Francis st. are permanently blocking the pavement with 3 commercial bins, a black one with an orange lid, a blue one and a green one with a blue lid.
They are not only blocking the pavement but I suspect have some unpleasant by products from the shop waste - one week there was a pungent black liquid leaking that has permanently stained the tarmac.
I would expect that these 3 commercial bins should be kept on their property and only put out on collection days, but I understand that they have made an enclosure where the bins should be stored and this area is now used for something like smoking meat, even though it is only semi-enclosed.
None of this seems quite acceptable to me, is it?.-Shop, 2 Francis Street, Leicester, LE2 2BD
