Dear Leicester City Council,<br/><br/>I am writing to request that you investigate the position of a streetlight outside my property, as its current location is obstructing and interfering with access to my driveway.<br/><br/>The streetlight is positioned in a way that makes it difficult to use the driveway safely and conveniently. I would therefore like the Council to assess the location and consider relocating the streetlight to a more suitable position where it will continue to provide the necessary public lighting without obstructing access to my property.<br/><br/>I would also like clarification regarding any potential cost. As the streetlight is Council/public infrastructure and was installed without adequate consideration of the impact on access to my driveway, I do not believe it is reasonable to assume that I should be responsible for the cost of moving it. Please therefore investigate the circumstances surrounding its installation and explain the basis for any charge before any work is proposed.<br/>I can provide photographs showing the obstruction and the effect it has on access to the driveway.<br/>I would appreciate this matter being investigated and would be grateful for a written response.<br/><br/>Yours faithfully,
