I am writing to raise a further complaint regarding the deteriorating condition of Murray Street. The street has now become a hotspot for fly tipping, with large amounts of waste being dumped and left unattended. In addition, the road and pavements are not being cleaned regularly, resulting in litter and rubbish accumulating across the entire area. This includes waste spread along the pavements, creating an unsanitary and unpleasant environment. There is also visible graffiti on surrounding walls, which has not been removed and is contributing to the neglect of the area. This is now the second time we at Leicester Bakery have raised concerns about these issues. As a food business, we are required to maintain strict hygiene and environmental standards. The current situation presents a serious risk, as litter and waste from the street could easily be brought into our premises, either by wind, pests, or general movement around the site. We also have a responsibility to monitor and maintain the cleanliness and safety of our perimeter. However, the ongoing neglect of Murray Street is making this increasingly difficult and poses a potential risk to both our operations and compliance with food safety regulations. We urgently request that the following actions be taken: Immediate clearance of all fly-tipped waste Regular street cleaning to maintain hygiene standards Removal of graffiti from surrounding walls Ongoing monitoring to prevent further dumping This situation requires prompt attention to prevent further deterioration and to ensure the area is safe, clean, and suitable for businesses operating nearby. Outside 113 there is black gunk which has been reported long while ago. There is also rubbish, I've been out this morning. The payment somewhat not even and the black gunk is being swept up by the cleaners. Areas like market Harborough there are cleaners 24 7 cleaning the pavements and it it very clean.
