The drain outside the front of our office on Newport Street is completely blocked again. We have witnessed a woman who lives a few doors up the street, pouring fat down the drain on numerous occasions. We have tried to approach her to explain that it is not an appropriate way to dispose of fat and she was quite rude and aggressive towards us. The blocked drain causes excess water to build up in our cellar (we have a pump in place to remove the water as this has been an ongoing issue) and this is not the first time the drain has become completely blocked.
