I am reporting a pavement defect that caused a fall and injury today at 11AM.
The incident occurred outside Santander Bank on Belgrave Road, Leicester. The pavement has an uneven and raised concrete slab which presents a clear trip hazard. The height difference between the slabs is noticeable and unsafe for pedestrians.
The area had already been marked for repair, indicating that the defect was known but had not yet been fixed at the time of the incident.
As a result of this defect, a fall occurred leading to injury. This is a safety concern for the public and requires urgent attention to prevent further accidents.
