I am a Churchwarden of St Mary de Castro church in Caste Street/Castle View Leicester. I am aware that City Council employees clean the streets near the church BUT recently the two bins at the back of the church opposite the De Montfort University business school building (the old court building) have been removed and significant amounts of rubbish are being left for some town on the roads around the church. As you will know, this is one of the gems of Leicester so please will you advise whether the bins are to be replaced and what other action is to be taken - we would also appreciate being supplied with some of the strong grey refuse bags if that is possible?
