There is a bin on the corner between Stoughton Drive North and St Phillips Road (Opposite 2 Stoughton Drive North, outside the block of flats). It is regularly filled with take away cartons but has no lid on it and because it isn't emptied regularly enough, it often blows out. Litter is a big issue in this area and we are trying to combat it (our neighbours and us) but it's made worse by this issue plus foxes who then come and take the litter that has blown out and leave it in our gardens. Can I suggest that the bin is either emptied more frequently - or just a bigger bin is provided, probably cheaper? - and that a lid is put on it. This should prevent both these issues recurring and would make a big difference to the environment and local community with little cost. Many thanks for taking the time to read this.
