A further treatment programme will begin in September. Residents should start to see signs of weed die-back within 7 to 12 days, depending on weather conditions and vegetation type. Our teams will continue to monitor treated areas and undertake any necessary follow-up work to help keep Leicester’s streets and public spaces clean and well maintained.

Yesterday the 4th of August 2026 I saw the man spraying the whole of Thurncourt road. Why does Radiant Road Always get missed. I pay £200 a month council tax. Our road is always forgotten 😡😡😡 Its absolutely ridiculous and neglect... -42 Radiant Road, Leicester, LE5 2HR

Can walk on pavements any more on both sides due to rubbish on both sides of streets and illegally parked cars. Happens daily for months now. Children and elderly cannot safely go down this street. This fencing has been damaged to the point it is dangerous. There are long sharp spikes (see pictures) sticking out of the fence onto the foot path where people including children regularly walk past. Please fix this before someone gets injured. In the alleyway between my house (5 redwood) and my neighbour (7 Redwood Walk) is alot of garden waste and chopped branches that look unsightly and has been left there. There is also wooden panelling that has been destroyed in the strong winds and is broken and this also looks very unsightly. Please could this be cleared up and the waste removed and the wooden.panels fixed or removed? This alleyway entrance is accessible on Lombardy Rise (which is behind Redwood Walk). The grass and bushes are very overgrown at the public footpath. Also the fire was set by the kids which is very dangerous to us residents who are living where the fire was set. If we wouldn't be in the garden and see just beginning of the fire and managing to putting the fire out with extinguisher and buckets of water it would of been catastrophic.
