Grass not been since one year and all insect and spiders are coming in our house. The tree is blocking street light. Tree damaging our guttering, leaves are blocking the pipes. 06/08/2026 01:26 We are pleased to confirm that Leicester’s citywide weed treatment programme has now been completed, with Abbey, Western and Belgrave wards the final areas treated in late July. A further treatment programme will begin in September. Residents should start to see signs of weed die-back within 7 to 12 days, depending on weather conditions and vegetation type. Thank you for your patience while this work has been carried out. Our teams will continue to monitor treated areas and undertake any necessary follow-up work to help keep Leicester’s streets and public spaces clean and well maintained.

Can walk on pavements any more on both sides due to rubbish on both sides of streets and illegally parked cars. Happens daily for months now. Children and elderly cannot safely go down this street. This fencing has been damaged to the point it is dangerous. There are long sharp spikes (see pictures) sticking out of the fence onto the foot path where people including children regularly walk past. Please fix this before someone gets injured.
